Mia Cheung was born in Taipei, Taiwan in 2003. She holds three passports and speaks two languages. Though she also loves spending time on the rugby pitch or the softball field, she does occasionally stray for the sake of writing.

Mia began writing because she wanted to craft captivating stories. She fell in love with poetry because she felt that if she wrote honestly about her truth, others could find a friend in her as well. Dandelion Body is her debut book.
